Thanks for the nice welcome,I'm in Whitelake,Mi.,just west of Pontiac. My car is in Commerce, just a few miles away at a friends house. It,s just sitting inside an enclosed car trailer waiting for me to make the decision whether to attempt the paint work myself or pay somebody to do it.It is completely stripped down to a shell sitting on casters. The car was litterally only on the road for a few years before it was stripped down for a complete resto. The guy I got the car from bought it from the original female owner when it was 1 year old.He did what a lot of other people did then was to yank out the small block a drop in a 440,jack up the rear end,put big tires on it,custom paint, and cruise Telegraph Rd.Fortunetly he held on to the 360 engine, but the trans got lost somewhere through the years. After just about 8000 miles of 440 4spd.,456 rear end abuse he decided to start a resto back to original.Just out of high school he evidently bought or opened a bodyshop.During this time(late 1970s)he had completely chem- stripped the car(good or bad?)then lightly under coated the whole car inside and underneath.I think this saved the car.The only part that looks like it might have been fixed is in front of the rear wheelwells, looks like very small metal patches welded in.I dont know what happened to the front fenders, but he bought brand new ones from Chrysler dealership in late seventies, which still are in the black paint they came in and have never been mounted on the car, other then me temperarily putting them on for storage purposes.Sorry for rambling on, I know I need to get some pics to make all this, seam worthwile reading,so I'll stop here till I post some. Thanks everybody.Dwight
