Hmmmm... I wonder if it'll mean more deaths of '69 Chargers in the hands of Hollywood producers?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

This sounds kind of interesting...Definitely something to keep an eye out for.  The plot seems similar to that movie with the Black Lincoln that hit a bunch of different people throughout the country...kinda like Highwaymen with the '68 SS/AA Hemi Barracuda.
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback...........The new daily & winter driver.
All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.

Exactly why I will probably never get to own one.  The demand is too high.  Although, the guy I bought my car from has a super solid 69 in pieces he wants to sell for half of what I bought my chally for.  Hmmm...  How come I have to be so broke?  If Im lucky though, my cousin will buy it, and maybe sell it to me down the road.   :cooldancing:

I asked once again for pics of the Challenger.  I included the pics of the Mustang and Charger and asked how they fit in.  If they give me any information.  I will pass it on.  With Kurt Russell's character being a member of a stunt driving team all these cars could be used.

There is a write-up about these movies in the latest (May 2007) issue of Mopar Collectors Guide.

Something tells me after watching that clip that these cars don't come out unscathed.  :misbehaving:

I loved the movie, and I am going to see it several times..I guess that shows what kind of sick bastard I am...There is a lot of talk about Vanishing Point in the last half of the movie..

And yes...the two Mopes along with the cool Nova get TRASHED........not for the weak Mopar hearted... :22yikes:
The fist movie is a zombie type film PLANET TERROR which is hilarious...the second is the Death Proof car flick...they are filmed like the old grindhouse movies of the 70's that exploited sex and violence....two movies back to back...what more could you want???!!! :ylsuper:

Deathproof is way cool for Mopar fans. Amusingly, Tarantino apparently didn't know squat about Challengers before he wrote it except that there had been one in Vanishing Point. He wrote an extended scene which required window fra,es on the Challenger, so they had to weld some on.

I want to see it for the Mopars, but I hate gory horror films. :pullinghair:, maybe I'll brave it when  it comes out on DVD.
