Hey MIke give XV MOtorsports an shout, I think they got 18x10's on the back with a 305 series tire, but I can't remember if that fit their stage 1 kit (still using leaf springs) or just the stage 2 kit. They were also running an 18x8 on the front I believe.

With a 17x8 Wheel you can fit 255 tires on there so long as your sidewall is correct.

I have 17x8's all around on my Barracuda (A-Body) and its pleanty big for what I'm running, though I always want more rubber. That's still a 9.5" treadwidth on bfgoodrich KDW sport's.

I believe my fronts are 235-35-17 and rears are 255-40-17.

However, if you get 18x10's or 18x9's you can get 275+ rubber on there.

Whatever you do, Do NOT put more backspacing in the rear. (Pushing the spokes out towards the outside) It looks kinda funny sitting there with rear tires pushed in further then the fronts.

I have 4 7/8" Backspacing in the rear, and 4" in the front. Fronts have a deepdish look to them.

If I did it again, I'd reverse that so the wheels/tires are wider in the rear.

Thanks. I was told from Dr Diff that with his kit a 10" wheel and 6" BS centers in the well very nicely. If i go with those 4.5" BS fronts, i dont think it will look too outta whack.

It's hard to say really, that 1.5" difference makes the 'deep dish' look more noticable.

I just don't want you to have the same problem I did! And mine's only 7/8" difference!

Just to wet your appetite.... here's how a 315/35/17 fits in the wheelwell     The problem is the leaf spring gets in the way before the wheel tub does.       I think it would still get in the way even with the leafs relocated 1".  You would need the 3" relocation to make these actually fit.   Plus without the wheel lip rolled, clearance is tight so rims backspacing etc. would be critical.  It sure does look awesome though!

Any idea when you plan on relocating the springs and such, getting a rim? If you plan on doing it and fitting that tire in there within the next few months or so PLEASE post up your findings, stock Ebody rear? That looks killer

At the moment im looking at

Front

17x8, 4.5"BS - 235/50/17 -27"tall
18x10 6" BS - Dr Diff 1" Relocation 285/55/18 30" tall

Some tall tires, but i want some meat on there and to fill those wells up.

Travis. Do you know the rearend width to mount that tire?  I like the look.

That 30" tire on the back is probably going to force you to modify the the wheel well/body.  This is a picture of my 285/45/18 that works out to 28".  It you notice that the space between the tire and front of the well is pretty small with this size.

I know it's tight but it looks like it seems to fit. I'll be looking into it more before i start buying things.

Yeah I have a long way to go before I get rear tires on there.  I still have to get the rear suspension sorted out, etc.  Heck I can't even decide on a which rims I want yet, let alone the sizes and backspacing.    However, once I do I'll post the results.  I think a Wheelrite is in my near future.

I actually bought that 315 for 10 bucks on eBay just to use as a mock up.  It makes for a good picture and something to shoot for in the future.  I think with a mini-tub a 335/30/18 would fit as well (stock Viper size).     Like I said though the real issue is the rear suspension gets in the way.... I have plans to deal with that but it will be a little while still.

 How close is that tire to the leafspring and fender lip? Can't Challengers take a little more tire in the back than Cudas? I'm just wondering if that might work on a Challenger with a B body rear end and a 1" Dr. Diff relocation kit and a little fender lip rolling?

You get about 14 inches in the wheelwell on a E-body Plymouth. All you have to do is move the springs out of the way (the one inch kit will do it) and get the right back spacing on the wheel
