70 Cuda project- Need help with color options choice?pics attached
These pics were taken where I picked up this car and its now home. I am brining this into the shop next weekend now that the 70 vert is done/ and starting this one.  I am trying to decide what to do with it. What color, build up, ect.

Its a little 318 car, console shift, A.C front disc brakes, ect and is now all original. It needs lower quarters on at least one side and a pass side door but it runs/ drives. I am thinking I may keep the luggage rack.

Just  not sure what color to do and interior, ect. any suggestions besides sublime, everything I see is sublime. Also already have a curious yellow car, petty blue car, red car, silver dart I am starting and am doing the 64 fury in black, so I am trying to avoid those colors.''

Thought about (I believe its F4 GREEN) LIKE THE ATTACHMENT. i SHOT THIS 69 SAT FOR MY BUDDY IN THIS GREEN. How do you think it would look on a  cuda with white interior???????

thanks for any imput

I'd surf ebay and other sites for pics and I'm sure you'll see something that catches your eye... if it was mine, I'd be doing a black aar clone

That green looks very close to the color jvike used on his car.  This one looks a little lighter in color, but could be due to lighting.  :dunno:
You can find some of his resto pictures in this thread.  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=13268.45

I think it would look good with a white interior too.

Black.  70 Cudas look sinister in black.  Look at the pic below.  The only thing that would make it more intimidating would be a silver shaker poking out of the hood.  :grinyes:

Yes, I agree, I love black and this is a AC car but I am doing my sport fury black for sure as its also an A.C car and dont want too black cars. Plus, I currently live on 2 1/2 acres on a dirt road and am moving to my 175 acre property/also on a dirt road and dust gets EVERYWHERE. You can keep black clean. My LAWFISH Cuda is black and white and the white always looks clean and the black is ALWAYS DIRTY.

So one black car is enough.

Am also interested in what combos you guys would go for drivetrain wise???? I have a 4 speed sitting here and a 440 for a 500 stroker 4 speed combo??????? Mabe just keep it a 318????? In either case, I am going with one of HARMS shaker hood kits.

In any car show you would be the only one with it. What you can't see is the metalic in the paint in these pictures. One of the great Mopar paints that are glittery metalic in the sun. Looks almost gold to me. It also reflects well, and in overcast skys can darken. Love the black accents on the strip and tail pannel.

Mine will be f4 but with a custom touch of more flakes.

I would do it in either the color cudahob just posted, or b7 blue.

It'd look good any color, open a paint chip book, close your eyes and pick a color :grinyes:

One color option I would love to try is flat black paint with gloss black hockey stick stripes.  If I ever get a deal on a 318 car I am going to make a Cuda clone with this color scheme.

It will look great in any of the suggested paint combos, personally I really like the green you posted earlier,   as far as drive train combos, you mentioned 500 stroker 4 speed,

:grinyes:

No, I'm not partial, why? LOL  :2thumbs:
