That one has already been listed here as a possibility, and I'm afraid it needs more panels than what fishin4cuda has listed, among other things inner fenders. Personally this car would be better suited for a long term resto or a drag car, lots and lots of work which  =  time, which we do not have. We have 9 months to meet the July / Carlisle show. The car in Patalaska, Ohio (near Columbus) looks like what we need to consider, unfortunately the funds are not there.

When I first heard of that car and went to look at it it could have been taken home for $500.00, but.............it was in the middle of winter and I had no place to store it. A co worker bought it, had it for nearly a year and it ended up with his nephew, who later wanted to sell it for a grand. I'm not sure who actually put it on e-bay, but beleive me, although the car was repairable, it would not be a project for the near future, it would be a long haul and a large budget to complete. It was one of those situation where it would be cheaper to buy a turn key car as to see that one to completion. Sad.

If I would have had a place to put it I would have bought it, but would have then looked for another one also, beleive me this one would either be suited as a parts/donnor car or possibly a low budget drag car where you could just cut out the "brown areas".  :roflsmiley:

I would be happy with a 72-74 ... now you caugh-up a 71 for $500 I will be heading your way ...:)

I would be happy with a slow project car(as long as it had a title, and truely was worth fixing)  Heaven knows long term project is what I am used to...lol

:roflsmiley: Well, $500.00 was quite a big mark up  :roflsmiley: The guy told me he bought it from a guy up in Canton, the city was on his back about all the junk and trash laying around his property. It was sold I was told first for $100.00 ! !

The guy got it home, started tearing it down, attempting to fix it as best he could. Long story short, he lost his job, it's now December 2004 and he has  two little kids and Christmas was coming. So being the good daddy that he was he decided to sell it so he could get a few things for his kids at Christmas.

BTW, the guy who had it when I first went to look at it was a member here and he only lived about 20 mile from me. But oh boy was this ever a basket case, I really felt sorry for the guy. His heart was in the right place, he had a dream for "his" cuda, but money, space etc. just made a problem project even more troubling.
