Looking for a few opinions, so I know I've come to the right place
« on: November 09, 2006 - 03:52:07 PM »
I am in the process of getting some new shoes for the 71 Challenger. I love the wider tires on the back, but don't want to have to alter car any to do it. Therefore, I am looking at a set of 235/60/R15 for the front and 275/60/R15 for the back. I am considering one of the following as far as rims, but can't decide whats going to look best. Also keep in mind that the Nitrous II would have to be 15/8 all the way around due to available backspacing. Other then that I am looking at 15/7 4" bs front and 15/8 4.5" bs on the back. I will attempt to copy the four rims that I am looking at in the following order - Foose Nitrous II , American Racing Torque Thrust II, Coddington Nemesis and Coddington Sting Ray. Will have to upload each image seperately in next posts.  Let me know what you all think - If I were to go with the Nitrous II how would having the same size (15/8 4.5 bs) all the way around effect the look ??? - Thanks.

Oh crap,

I was hoping for an easy question.  :banghead:

I would go with the first or second pic.

The torque thrust is what my nephew wants, but I think that they are the cheapest looking ones out of the bunch.

Is cost a factor here, or are they similar?

not a fan of coddington , either of the first 2 , the T thrust is nice but becoming over used , I kinda like the T thrust with the flat non polished  spokes better

Here is another similar wheel to the Tork Thrusts that I have admired & has the clean center of the Foose wheel.

No, Cost is not a factor. The thing that I don't like about the wheels from Stockton is that they look like they are backwards. The center is too far back.
