wiring
« on: August 13, 2003 - 12:47:16 PM »
Besides for tearing it out and redoing it all
I installed a elec. dist. from a 74 dart
my problem is I have the coil hocked up wrong, when the car is cranking there is not enough power going to the coil, when it is on run there is, it will start if it cranks fast enough then sputters to life (sometimes)

Are there any full wiring diagrams   this is a 65 barracuda v-8
I have pictures of the coil, distr, ecu. my thought are for the Little switch (not sure name) little box 1"x1 1/4"x 1" and a little foot mounted on fire wall     starter solinoid wire runs from it to starter.
1965 barracuda. Was 273/2 904 car had 440 360 in plans

Your start wire needs to run to the side of the ballast where the coil hooks to , the blue run wire needs to hook to the other side of the ballast so that it drop voltage to the coil
