Does this 72 340 belong to anyones car?

 Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this :newbie: ;D
Found this 72 340 engine in a 68 Baracuda I brought home.
It has a 9/30/71 casting date with 2B420331 stamping  :wave:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I hope you find the owner as he would love to have the original engine. I'm sure I would if it was for my car.

Moparts has an engine tranny lost and found section so you could post it over there also.  :thumbsup:

 I think this is a great idea. I know if I had an original 340-383-426 or 440 car missing the original motor, I would want to track it down. Even if the owner didn't want to sell it right now, I could at least give him my phone number for when he does or make him an offer he couldn't refuse  :biggrin:
