You're telling me...I fell to the floor and stomped my fists on the ground yelling "NOoooooooooooooooo!" :faint:

I forgot, I have another question.

Where, specifically, is the car?  I have family in Hendersonville and am planning a visit this summer - might have to make a little detour.

Just outside of Burnsville, about 40 minutes from Asheville.

tuna:

Go to Mapquest, figure the mileage from point A to point B, then multiply by $0.50 (I figure approximately 50 cents per mile) and that should give you a ballpark figure.

Mike:

Still very interested - just trying to convince the better half that it's a good deal.  Good luck whichever way you go.

Wow, for the condition of this car I can't believe nobody has gone for it at $5K!!!  Hopefully someone here can find the extra room and $$ to bring it home as I'd be a great project for someone who's looking for a clean '70 project. :2thumbs:  The rails look pretty solid for the most part.  Only a couple spots in those photos looked like they would need some work after a good sandblasting.
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)

All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.

Why would someone want to make it a 70? The tail panel is totally different and it would be a lot of work for just a taillight change. I don't know how hard it would be to change the grille  :dunno: but all the people I know like the 71's distinctive look and relative rarity over the 70 model.
