Wow, I can't believe you still have it.  The market must be getting really soft.  The new American dream of more month than money is really bad.

I tell you, if it had just a little more solid floor and trunk pan I would have bought it for a driver long ago. You dont know how many times I have come close to pulling the trigger on that car, I love the paint scheme and options, pretty much everything about it except the rust.

To all potential buyers of this car,

This is a Dodge Challenger from the golden year of 1971.
Is is from the greatly endeared E-body family, who have a reputation of deeply affecting anyone who comes into contact with them  :worshippy
They could quite possibly become worth more that their initial sticker price, due to rumors of lower production numbers compared to others of the same era.
Though it may take a little while for the little known Challenger nameplate to sink into the masses, a select few I suspect already have a headstart on the future potential of these critters.
One day in the distant future, (though I make no claims of being physic) I truly believe parts will be available to bring back these cars to their former glory, so generations ahead of us may be able to appreciate them.
Without a past, the future does not exist.
Without a future, the past is irrelivant.
(I just made that up, and I have no idea what that means  :clueless: :dunno: )

In other words......will someone PLEASE buy this car !!!!!!!!!!!

 I tried man.
Good luck

Anyone got spring fever??? . This is my last price cut. Surely it's worth $4500.

Thanks, Mike

I originally purchased this car to use as a parts car for another project, but I “never got around to it”. I really don’t have the time or energy to part it out, and I really hate to since it is an almost complete car. I would like to sell it as is. The only things missing – that I know of – are the belt moldings on the front fenders, and the chrome pieces at the back of the hood and top of the fenders. It runs, and will move by itself, but is obviously not drivable on the street. It is not a numbers matching car – see engine and trans numbers below. It has 3 fender tags and the build sheet. It will need: floor pans, trunk floor, quarter panels (or at least the bottom), piece below the rear window, fuel tank. I have not had it on a lift, so I don’t know the condition of the frame rails. None of the glass is cracked. The VIN matches the door sticker and cowl. I haven’t been able to find the number on the radiator support – I suspect it is under the sticker, but I haven’t removed it.

I have the car for sale locally, and I’m asking $5,000. If you need other photos or info, please post or email.

I am in western NC, near Asheville. Email mledford@verizon.net.

Thanks, Mike
