Just because there isn't a house doesn't mean it isn't someone's private property.

I spoke with the lady that owned the property today.  She was fine with me on her property, so no worries.  Thank you for your concerns.  You can argue this matter with someone else in another post sir.

Thank you

So you trespassed first, got permission after the fact.  Still doesn't mean what you did was right or legal.  It's never right to trespass on another persons private property without asking.  Just because you don't want to hear it doesn't mean it shouldn't be said.  It was wrong.

I'm getting the vibe noone really cares...i'm sure you break the law on a daily basis, speeding etc...I dread looking at threads like this cuz I know how its gonna end...everyone can't do a textbook job of finding cars like yourself.   :2cents:

And I don't care if no one really cares.  Still has to be said.  I still have my morals and ethics.

I'll bet your moral and ethical values allow you to live well within the parameters of your life.  But you are are aware that everyone is different and therefore your level of morals and ethics are not applicable to everyone else.

I know that you don't need any examples, but the parameters of my life, make it ok for me to go on someone else's property to look at an abandoned vehicle.  That is with regards to my moral and ethical values and the law!  Can you imagine that?

In michigan you have to have the land posted with signs to legally keep people out. I would think most of the U.S.A is like that. Great find but too bad he wants to keep it.

Just don't do it in Texas or you're liable to get shot, legally, for trespassing.  If it's posted, and you trespass, you literally take your life into your own hands.  This would be an extreme case, obviously, but it has happened before.  I personally don't dare enter someone else's property uninvited.
