Hood type opinions
« on: November 16, 2006 - 07:18:59 PM »
I need a hood for my Challenger.  I have been kicking around hood styles and what to get.  I'm split on a fiberglass T/A hood, or a fiberglass or steel R/T hood.  I like the idea of a fiberglass hood for the weight savings, but it is going to be a street driven car (thought not daily).  Has anyone had any experience with the Goodmark reproduction R/T hood?  Good or bad?  What do you all think?  It's a '72 if that helps.

I put an AAR 'glass Challenger hood on my '71, it fit great. My body and paint guy was very impressed with the quality.

Was it a R/T or T/A style?

Barry,

I'm just curious if the hood took the standard hood hinges?  :dunno:

Mike,
Nope. They sent some with it that were lighter duty.
