Looks interesting.  How much lower do you think he'd go?  Looks like the floors and the trunk are toast.  Wonder how the frame rails look.

Looks good, but how much room in the price is there?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

:iagree:

The interior looks toast...it may take a lot to gix that one up.  But he may be willing to let it go for cheaper $$$.  I'd offer him 4k and see what he says, he may come back with 5k or 6k, either way, you've saved some money  :cheers:.  Truely though, the reality is your buying a car that needs 80% resto and you're not sure what's wrong with the brakes either, so worst case, it may need floors, interior, and brakes.  He's admitted to bondo in the 1/4's, just how much will determine if you'll need to get new skins or whole 1/4's.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but take a step back and really look into what you're buying and what you can afford to put into it.  Sometimes we get caught up in the "awe"  :drool:  :eek2: of buying one of these cars and forget the reality of how hard it is to rewire a new dash or cut out floor pans and put new ones in.

Just my  :2cents::wave:

I think we'll have alot of help fixing it up . . . I have some parts on hand that I will donate to the cause.  Pull the dash out and I'll go through it and try to make it look new!  I think after the new year we will have to put this in a higher gear!  :burnout:

 :screwy:  :screwy:  Don't know what I was thinking.....I thought someone was looking to purchase this for themselves, not as a suggestion for CudaGuy.  Disregard above message, I think this would be a good car if we can get it for a good price  :bigsmile:.

Hopefully the 50/50 will get us close to 5k and then we can either work on another one or do something to get some more $$$.   I've got almost $100 for the 50/50 that I haven't sent in yet, I;m just waiting for a few more co-workers to get in on the deal and then I'll send the monye all at once.

Glad to hear it!  Our 50/50 ticket sales have slowed down over the holiday, but it's time to get back in the game and sell those tickets.
