It's the voltage limiter from the back of the printed circuit board, knocks the 12V igntion down to about 5V.

When you get out there, you'll see that it doesn't have anything to do with the hood latch.

can't figure this one out yet.maybe a exhaust hanger bracket,what position not sure,shooting in the dark now.

any clues?

Exhaust hanger. I thought it would take a little longer for you to get from the hood latch back to muffler (resonator?) hanger. Hope you don't have frostbite someplace crawling around under your car.

Good one fy1,ya it was a little cold out,that was a educated guess though,just looking at the angle and thickness of the bracket.

This is a little different. Not E-Body specific, or even Mopar specific. If you are really into old cars, this should be something you have seen.
