    For those less astute, a door is not a door when it is ajar.  The little "door ajar" switch, located under the rear quarter windows, can get moisture on it from the windows, so they covered the switch with a little plastic hood.

    Only know E-bodies, but I'm guessing a side marker bezel from a 68ish Coronet or Charger.

    Is it stamped with something around the inside?  Kind of looks like a bezel for one of the pull knobs on the dash (headlights, wiper, etc).

    i cant think of a clever hint..... But this is inside the car, 73Chally was the closest when he pointed out the bezel, but where does it go?.....  :stirpot:
