    I havn't ever played with these so I am taking a total guess.  

       Hood tie down pin plates or brackets?  

      Never seen a pair but seems considerable to me.

    Hey, what do ya know, that's the first one of these I have ever gotten.  I havn't even owned those parts or really ever seen them.  Must be the Jedi feelings rising in me!

      Seriously though, I will post a pic here in a little while.  I have to go and take one.

    Definitely a bracket.  Not the heater valve though.

      Of course it's rusty, it's an unrestored ebody!!
      I thought they were all rusty somewhere!
