No, it is not broken. It is not part of the heater control bezel.  You are close , Mike. I'll give another hint.  You are looking at it from the side.

I didn't think it would be this hard.  It helps operate something on the outside of the car.  It is located inside the car on the drivers side of the dash assembly if you have this option.

I find it interesting you singled me out, yet this isn't specifically a Challenger part.   :screwy:

My first shot in the dark is it's a part that has to do with the rear window louvers, but mine are after-market, so you got me after that.  :pullinghair:
