Exactly right. The bigger hole is for the lens and bulb; the smaller hole is for the screw that holds them on.  Well done.  Didn't mean to single you out, but the indicators were right there on the C-C postings.  Our Cuda came with them and we just hooked them up--they're kinda cool.
Good Job and hope you can get the car back together quickly.

The car is running well, I just said I was taking it apart to find the piece you posted.  :grinyes: On Another note I find fantastic.. My turn signal indicators still work great after all these years. I think they are Sooo Mopar, and I love them.  :bananasmi

I'm pretty sure I know what it is but want to let someone else answer.  I'll start by saying it is a black piece of rubber.
