Geez, I thought that last clue would do it?

Actually, that was a twofor!

Ok, here's another one.

The first of the two possible ones would be located in the engine bay.

Ok, let's get this one solved tonight. :2thumbs:

The second one, if the option was added, would be seen in the trunk.

I'm trying to help and not give anyone the brush off.

Wait a minute? Are there two clues here? :grinyes:

OK it's pretty clear your talking about defrosters....the item in the pic I've never seen...would this be a part for a/c models?...My non a/c has some controls I've never dug into, so my guess would be part of the control,  but that's not under the hood   :dunno:

Maybe inside the blower motor housing?

Don't know.

Tom, you got it! :clapping:

It is the brush holder for the heater box motor and the defogger motor. They used the same part in both even though the stators were different size lengths. The picture is of the defogger motor.

You're Up!

:roflsmiley:

I only guessed  the housing because of the engine compartment and trunk reference. :faint:

Tom,

LOL  The truth is I was writing a reply to bullitt and was ready to post it showing the part. I thought he was close enough and I wanted to see my part end tonight. When I hit the Post button, I saw a red text message saying something like there’s a new post and do I want to read it first. That’s when I saw your answer.

So with that being said, bullitt, it’s your turn. :2thumbs:

Thanks for posting something I think I've seen before.  Looks like a slap-stick selector gizmo.
