checking frame dimensions

No idea why he would need the rear end to in it,I would leave the k-frame in it though.If they mount it on a frame machine they would attach it along the rocker pinch weld area.I would have the frame checked out before going any further as you do not want to start cutting and welding without everything being aligned first.

Looks like I found a good shop near my place to do an estimate. He told me next week he'd swing by to take a look at the damage. Place looks like a reputable shop. Stay tuned for updates. I can't wait to get this problem fixed.

I had a simular issue but with the front frame, the shop had me put in a good k-member and the rear end had to be there, the good news is they charged me less than $150.00 to straighten the frame, basically 2 hours of work, I prepped the car exactly the way they wanted it so they only had to charge me for the time it took for straighten the frame... good luck, btw my frame was much worse than yours.

The guy was supposed to come over to look at it this Friday but it is going to rain. Since it's outside, I guess I'll have to give him a raincheck.

Awesome news!!! 
We managed to meet and have him look at the car and he doesn't think it is tweaked.
He works at a shop that restores cars.

He thinks that the guy who did the hammerin just went overboard on the brace to the wheelwell. That area was what had me suspicious that something was wrong.

As soon as my new rotisserie shows, I'll do the measurements to double make sure everthing is OK.
