Electrical problems
« on: November 19, 2006 - 06:31:59 PM »
Help I have problems with the signal lights on my 70 Cuda.  The right side flashes OK but the left just comes on and won't flash.  Also the reverse light indicator in the interior comes on as well.

Also when I step on the brakes the tailights go out.

Thanks,
Mike

you are having ground problems , was the car recently painted ? , you may need to scrape some paint off where the light housings touch the metal body or run a ground wire from the housing

 :iagree:  :iagree:  :iagree:

Grounding issues can be a pain. Also check to see if all bulbs work. The turn signal lights should all be 1157's.
