Do you mean like this one has? No, same story as on the 70's with colors other than black,  a few guys have added different colors over the years but I've never seen a documented original example.

I've got a 70 U code Cuda, auto on the column, B5 w/ B5 interior, bench seat w/ armrest .   Its a loaded car w/ all power & AC.  The armrest keeps you in place & you can still snuggle w/ your honey

Here's another color combo that seemingly makes sense (these are Hemi Orange) but were never offered, same goes for the orange wheels with a black painted car, painted steel wheels were either body color or black in 1971, it wasn't a choice of either or, 1971 colored steel wheels were an early year standard being dropped in favor of all of them getting black wheels standard later in the production year. The Shaker bubble would have been black organosol in most cases as well but there were some very early production examples that recieved sliver argent bubbles so it was possible, just not very likely.

Regardless of all of this, isn't this a nice looking car? I saw it at Carlisle a couple years ago, the owner went all out on detailing it. :cheers:

It just seems odd that you could get moulin rouge, lime green, yellow, white, black and probably other colors on Challenger stripes but only black hockey sticks on a 70 'Cuda? weird.
1971 Challenger (OO==== ====OO) getting close!
1970 Challenger (OO########OO) long ways off

Yes, it seems weird but with Hockey Stripes & AAR stripes your only choice was black. and in 71 it was either black or white.

However........If you wanted a Cuda with a different color stripe, they were available in a different style strobe stripe (V4M - Magenta Longitudinal Strobe Stripes), here's one original example.

Plymouth was the cheaper line, Dodges were more upscale. So in most cases more items were available in the Dodge line. Challengers had an incredible amount of different color stripes available if you count the bumble bee stripes.

The stripe in Scott's photo is the V4M stripe, the Magenta stripe was only available on Moulin Rouge cars.
