Girl-"James if the only thing I had left of you was your smile and you little finger, I would be happier with that than with any other man."

Bond-"Thats because you know what I can do with my little finger."

I liked the part when Bond wins the old Austin Martin in a Poker Game, and then later meets the dudes HOT girlfriend in the parking look valet. She says is your place close by, Bond says yes get in. They drive around the parking lot, pull back up to the valet.

The wife and I saw it today. Good flick, awsome DB5, although a bit confusing toward the end, best one I've seen in awhile.  :blah:

Okay, I have to ask - is this supposed to be a new 007 to replace the Peirce 007 or is this supposed to be the original? The only reason I haven't gone to see it yet is because if its supposed to be the original then I'll be really annoyed with the continuity.

Daniel Craig (I think thats his name) is replacing Brosnan.  But, this is, a sort of prequel to all the bond movies.  Meaning, that in this film, James Bond is promoted to 007 within MI6.  Before that, he was just an agent or operative.  Bonds ego is still very much present, and I think that his way with women in all the rest of the movies is explained in this one.  As always, someone correct me if I'm wrong  :2thumbs:

It opens with a flash back to when he gets his double "o" status.  Shows how it happens.   Then continues in the present day.
You can assume that this movie is pretty much a set of book ends to the whole Bond universe to this point.

71bigblock has it right also, but I think the real question you have is, if this is a new agent Bond that is replacing an old agent Bond.  The answer to that is no.  This is supposed to be the same Bond that all the previous actors have played.  Just a different take on the personality.

Quick trivia, what is the big difference between the original (1954) Casino Royale and all of the other bond movies?

That was just on TV a few days ago... totally idiotic, but typical for the eara. Peter Sellers with Ursula Andress and David Niven.  :puke:  :eek4:  :puke:

Think of the original Casino Royale as a James Bond movie on acid...catchy theme song though :smokin:
