Guess what I'm playing with? Here's the tag
« on: November 21, 2006 - 08:05:41 PM »
I got this with a 1975 tag on it. It was setting in a barn in Death Valley Ca.  It wasn't perfect, but an excellent start. Look at the fender tag mmmmmmm

R11  END
G33 J25 M21 M46 N85 N95
FC7 A62 C16 C55 C62 G31
FC7 H6X9 000 908 016662
E44 D21  BH23 GOE 102911

The body shop called me last night to come get the fenders, header panel, and gravel pan. So today I got to play all day. Last week they did the doors, rear pan, hinges, and decklid. Now I am lining the doors and fenders up this week, I also put the windshield clips in and when i get the doors squared to the fenders, it goes on the trailer and gets the whole car painted PPG BC/CC. I built the 440 2 days ago. Well the short block. I build the six pack next week and the heads are done then too. The 4 spd is ready to go now and the bodyshop is working on the flat hood getting ready for the shaker.  Here's some pics I took this week and today. Excuse my shop mess, I just had it built 3 weeks ago and it's not even close to done yet and everything is a mess. The glass people come monday to install the front/ rear glass. I'm doing the dash structure this weekend.------How's it look so far? This isn't a regular 318 body. Notice the M46? Barry says like 15 left on registry or so is all.

I show the car in the registry from moparts, but I don't have the owner info on it.  If you can email or PM me your info.

Very cool pics.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Here's that yellow m46 car Barry.  If you could see all the paper work I have stored, you'd understand why it's so hard to find that build sheet on it. I found a 71 vert challenger build sheet tho. I set it down a couple of weeks ago and I think I put it in an old direct connection order catalog on a shelf in the other barn. I have 3 barns here with stuff in it and 2 closets full, si it's a matter of time as I finish my shop, I will have a library and all in order :2thumbs:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Another case of rare vs desirable, IMO.  :2cents:  I'd remove those (M46)

Having the parts painted seperate from the body, was it the same paint?  I'm guessing its not going to match up perfect if not.
