Well, I'm new here, but I figured after I looked around the site for while that I might need to post up my project progress to let you guys know what's been happening the past two years...
It all started with the unlucky test drive of my 70 plymouth duster. I had just installed a new AlterKtion front suspension on my tubbed / bigblock duster. Had it on there about 2 months and drove it around a little. Sad part is, I went out for a tuning ride on e evening and the throttle got hung. The rest is history. I saved the engine, trans, rear end and the hood & decklid. The car was totaled, my second 70 tubbed duster and it was a total wreck. So I needed to start fresh. My first duster suffered a wreck at the drag strip with only 10 passes on it. The rod pulled out of the master cylinder at the start line and I went for a 100 mph ride in the 1/8th and couldn't stop. Anyway, I decided it was time to move onto a different bodystyle.
Now, here I am with a 2,500.00 74 Challenger Rallye that I scooped up on a deal in the mountians of NC. I allways wanted one, but could never afford one. Seems like god was smiling on me that day...just like he smiled on me in all of my wrecks that I walked away from without a scratch.
Here she is when I first brought her home....
