All done!!!!!  Man am I glad that's over with. :lol:






Here's where all the attention to detail comes into play.  Both headers are the same height, and level with each other.

Hey, if you can start making headers for 440's that drop right in, you will make millions.   :lol:  A Bang here, a bend there.    :pullinghair:

I know what you mean.  The TTI headers fit about the best of any header on the market - and if you notice, the ones that built look similar.  It's almost impossible to make a set of headers that will fit every car for every application, especially with straight plug heads.

The headers look really nice, looks like they are about the same amount of ground clearance as the trans oil pan. Where did you source all the stainless bends and merge collectors from?? also, what remote water pump is that?
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

No problem.  If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with one of the reverse cooling manifolds and a pump that mounted to the radiator....it would have been less of a packaging and plumbing nightmare.  :eek7:

So I figured I would take some time over the holiday to work on my new intake.  Here's where it's at so far.





This is kinda what I'm thinking for the top, but it looks kinda like the Alien head from "Aliens", hence the reason I'm using cardboard to mock everything up.



The area around the the throttle body mount needs some more attention.  I need to figure out something different with that.





Not very flattering at all, but I'll figure something out.

Working in the second intake again....  Here's what you do when you need a small radius and don't have the proper tools. :lol:



.....and the somewhat finished product, minus injector bungs (which I machined over  the weekend) and the injectors.



This one was a hell of a lot easier to fab than the first one.







That's a baaaaaad lookin thing right there.  :D

So, I have been pretty busy - made a new intake, added and subtracted some chassis pieces, etc.  These may be the last pics you will see for a while.  I start my new job on Monday - and the challenger is back at home now.  It will be at least a month before we buy another house, so it may be freakin Christmas before the car gets moved to the new residence.   The good thing is in the next month, I will still be able to piddle along with it some as I have time (which that could pose an issue too.  We all know I have LOTS of SPARE TIME. :lol:)


Here's a couple from where I cut out the old torsion bar cross member and added some extensions to the subframe connectors.  I thought they turned out ok.  Like I have said before, if I had this to do all over again, I would have just ordered some frame rails from Alston's Chassis works and had at it. :lol:





So, enjoy what may be some of the last pics until Christmas.
