Interesting that the thread from the dead got bumped up.
Here's a little update for you folks.
Things have been somewhat hectic with the layoff in August (that's why I was starting a new job at the beginning of August), starting the new job the following Monday and having to deal with the housing situation. Work has been busy as hell - so hopefully after the end of this year, they'll give me tons of money.
I've been working Michigan almost every week since the end of January, so I have not been home long enough to even finished getting moved in. The garage at the new house in Thomasville NC is tiny, real tiny. Two cars my ass is all I have to say. At any rate, I was waiting around to have enough "extra" money to build a storage building out back so I'd have a place to put my bikes, yard tools, Christmas decoration stuff, wife's misc. stuff, etc, etc. Well, I've been home now for about 4 days, and I decided to say to hell with it and go get my car from the old house in Callands VA yesterday. I figured if I went and picked it up, it would force me to make room in the garage for it. Well, that worked.
At any rate, if I want to do anything to the car, I have to move all that other stuff out and move the car about halfway out of the garage, but it's better than having it sitting 100 miles away in a garage where I can't touch it. Maybe I'll be posting some progress over the summer. I still have to wire in a 220V outlet for my compressor, but that'll happen before too long. My neighbors are going to literally hate me when I start working on this thing. :lmao:
