Pinks all out
« on: November 24, 2006 - 04:27:55 AM »
Anybody catch it?Different format than regular Pinks. They picked a 16 car field running 10.0-10.5 and matched them up by ET`s and let `em race 1 time heads up.Anyone caught sandbagging was eliminated- $10,000 to the winner.

Yeah, I caught it last night as well.  I like to new format, but how can they tell if someone is using NOS?  Even just a small boost would give someone a 1/4 car length win over someone else if it got down to it.

Alot better format though, I enjoy seeing more racing vs. smack talk.

I don't think nos is a problem.  I believe that you can do whatever is needed to beat the other car, except run under the 10 sec.barrier.  1 car went 9.xxxx and beat the other car, but he was sent home for going too fast.  They are trying to reduce/eliminate sandbagging.....   All in all, I like this format better than the old one.     :cooldancing:

I caught it also.  It's still a "who sandbags the best" contest.  Bring a 9.7 sec. car,  run 10.0 - 10.5 and dip to 9.9 if you absolutely have to.

Still beter than watching ricers beg for 20 cars  :roflsmiley:

Could be a good show if they wanted it to be. Racin for cash is way better, I missed that show, but it sounds like a better format.

The first Mopar ever on Pinks debuted on this episode, too bad about the fluid leak it developed as it looked like it was quick!

hey I love the Dodge trucks, but it might have been... one of those snub nose dodge trucks?

That may have been it, I never got to see it.
