Blasting cabinets?
« on: November 24, 2006 - 06:55:57 AM »
I've been thinking about buying a blasting cabinet.  Anybody have any experience with Badboy Blasters?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BADBOY-BLASTERS-BLAST-ABRASIVE-SAND-CABINET-BLASTER_W0QQitemZ170052030133QQihZ007QQcategoryZ63700QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Looks to be a good product for the price.  24" x 33" floor, Dual doors, vacuum, foot control, gauge / switch panel.  Anybody know of anything better in this price range?

Go to Harbor Freight and look at their sales.  They have a big one there with dual doors alot cheaper that that Bad-Boy for $750.
It's just a cabinet though. You add your own shop-vac, sand blaster, both available there.

I have heard both good and bad things about the Harbor Freight cabinet. One buddy says that it waorks like a charme and the other says the plastic side doors don't seal the greatest.

I have looked for awhile and decided to go with this

They also have plans to build your own, that's what I did, 3'x3'x6'.  It's huge.
