Ques: Installing rear leaves
« on: November 27, 2006 - 03:32:35 PM »
Couple of questions as I'm a newby car assembler.  Do you grease the rubber bushes on the rear shackles or leave them dry?  Should all suspension nuts have threadlock on them.  Are there torque settings for suspension bolts/pins on the shackles and eye bush?

I left my bushings dry. They were rubber, but I hear poly squeeks? I didn't put anything on the nuts either. As far as torque, I just went by feel. This isn't all that critical. The nuts won't come loose.

I did the same thing on mine, except I have the poly, and they sweak a little on large bumps.
