    In all seriousness, it seems it is set up so that A and B bodies get preference, then the T/A's and AAR's, that nobody cares about(Pooh-poke to Barry).  :poopoke:  :lol: I liked that the trucks and Jeeps were up on the hill last year. That's what they are made for, right?  :stirpot:

    Not all "A" bods get special treatment.  I remember a certain green "A" bod that was squeezed in between the "E" bods.....  (thanks to my C-C buddies , I didn't have to come back to Ga early...)       :cooldancing:

    That hill would make a good ski slope, a short one but a very good one. Actually it is unsafe to park anything up there. Trying to move a standard shift while on grass (dry, let alone wet), and that is a lot of pressure on an automatic park gear. Sad, but I'd leave mine at the motel if I had to park up there, not that I'm better than anyone, it's just not safe in my opinion. It is a difficult situation to work around, but at least the rotating "game" is the best, just let us know who is parking on the hill, I'll leave that car home and drive one of the other "bodied" cars.  :roflsmiley:

    I understand about the "hill".  Nobody wants to be on it but we're all stuck with it until someone can find an economical way to remove it :clueless:.  huge :.

    Just a smart a$$ suggestion….maybe you could place some dirt in little baggies and sell it to the every participant.  That way the could take a little of Carlisle with them….and in a few years the hill will be gone.   :roflsmiley:

    I've often wondered if anyones car ever started rollin down that hill during a show. What a catastrophe that would be.

      Last year was the first time I walked up to the upper far limits of the hill. Let me tell ya, it was a workout for the calf muscles.  :grinyes:

    With all the huge car events that Carlisle has every year, they should have made enuff money 100 times over to get a few bulldoziers and dump trucks to remove the hill.   It could be gone and have grass planted over the remaining level area in a week or so......     :bigshades:

    I think that hill is just a liability waiting to happen with all the cars. Not to sound negative. But Sh!t happens when you have a lot of people and cars.

    That's true Russ, but you still have to maneuver around and get parked, and if you want or need to leave before the guy in front of you, well, it's just a bad situation for anyone.  Yes it would be expensive, but that lil hill could be moved in less than a week during the winter. But when the state (owners of the fairgrounds) are not liable for your car, they have no incentive to invest in that expense. I'm sure there already have been "accidents", we just have been fortunate to not have them happen during Chrysler Classic week.
