73 Chrysler Parts Catalog
« on: November 28, 2006 - 08:40:05 AM »
Just an FYI, I purchased a 1973 Chrysler Parts Catalog online, it's in .pdf format and it's awesome  :cooldancing:.  It's got almost 1300 pages for the mechanical and body stuff and 20 pages for Wiring diagrams.  I can zip it up and put it on my server and give a link to those who want it, but it's big.  It's 190MB and that includes a free PDF reader that works 100x better than Adobe.

If I get enough response, I'll post another message with the link and people can download it. :jumping:

Ah heck with it, I'll just put up the link:

http://www.robertfahey.com/docs/73_Parts_Catalog.zip

It's probably best just to right-click on it and choose Save Target As...

It would be interesting to see who dl's it, so if you do, please throw up a post so I can count how many.  Remember, it's HUGE, 190MB.

Happy DLing...

Arrr....I put it in the wrong place.....I have to upload it again.  Give me 30 minutes to upload it and then try this link:

http://www.robertfahey.com/dl.htm

That should work in about 30 minutes or so, once the file is uploaded.

Thanks Bud, I appreciate that

I like to think that most everyone on this board is like a big family;  No one is trying to rip someone else off when they sell them something and it's always nice to see a part or whatever go to someone who needs it vs. selling it for more $$$, atleast that's the way I feel.  If I've got stuff that someone else can use to help them with their project then I'll get it to them if they want it.  :jumping:

I may take you up on that offer someday.  As you may be aware, my trani is slipping and I need to decide (sometime after the holidays) if I want to replace it with another 727 or go with a manual 4-speed.  Either way, I've never done it before so I may need some pointers.

How hard is it to rebuild one myself?  I've rebuilt motors and such, but it's been awhile (about 10 years), but then again, I'm not affraid to try different things either.  I saw a rebuild kit online for cheap and was wondering what it would take, am I crasy to attemp?  :clueless:  :screwy:  :screwy:

You can do it, I will walk you through it if need be. Get a book so you don't have to imagine how things should be , and we will do the rest together!
