Here is a pic of the heater. Probably a slight overkill for the size of the garage.   :grinyes:

At least you can work through the winter in a nice warm garage.   :2thumbs:

The engine and tranny look great.

I see you went with the dual plane intake, good call.  Have you concidered a shaker or AAR set up for the hood for breathing?  The engine looks great!

How many BTU's?
Tom

I went and looked . . . 150,000 BTU's  Seems to work pretty well for that little garage . . probably an overkill but it sure heats up fast!  I have it set at 45* when I'm not there!   :grinyes:

Not much . . got my valve covers back from the machine shop.  Need to order my headers and I guy I bowl with on Monday Mens league works at Mancini's when they go to shows and stuff.  He got me a discount on some TTI headers for Indi heads and I need to order them.  Actually I think I'll do that right now.  Today I'm packing up my house and taking truck loads over to the new house where the car is.  I'll snap a pic of the valve covers. I bought the plain Indi Valve covers and powder coated them in satin black.  Had the breathers and a PVC installed.  Give me about an hour and I'll have a pic!   :grinyes:

(edit one hour later)  Here they are! The last one is my new back yard.  Not much . . no grass and you can just see my diving board!   :grinyes:

4C,

I have to ask... with a monster engine like that, why not an open carb spacer? I tried the 4-hole thing, but I found the open spacer worked a little better for me. Hey, it can be something you play with in the future, I hope I didn't ruin the surprise.

Seriously do drain them or what?

We drain out about 1/3 of the water making sure it's below the skimmer. Blow out the pipes, drain the filter and heater . . .cover it up and good to go!  With the cover I have, there is a drain in the middle for any water that settles on it.  In the spring the 1/3 of water I pumped out will be back.  First year though as I just bought this house, we'll see.   :grinyes:

MEK I kinda just threw that up there and really if I was to decide to use it, I'd roto-zip the center out for better air flow.  It was for the boat but I ended up not using it.
