Here's a few pics of the project, I've already restored this car once when I was 14 yrs old. I was lucky enough to find it again 20 yrs. later. Now I'm restoring it again. It's a '72 340 727 auto , numbers matching . Has alot of sentimental value too..  Bare with me on some of the weird size pics, still trying to figure out site . Ed --72cudaguy

WOW those grills look brand new!!  Very cool!  Your project is looking good as it doesn't look like it needs too much body work!  SWEET!   :worshippy

Excellent job on those grille's. Who's silver agent paint did you use???? Penstar's is no good anymore, I tried Eastwood's on my friends. I didn't like it too much, but he did.

Hey guys,  I had a place called GCAR out of Washingtion do the grill work. Mine had a few cracks that had already been repaired but needed to be repaired again correctly so my grill ran about $1100.00 soup to nuts, what you see in the pictures above. The other grill did not need as much repair, that one ran about $750.00. The guys name is Glenn at GCAR, super nice guy and very prof. to deal with. Highly rec. ( GCAR.com ) By the way my name is Ed and I'm located in Hudson, N.H. My car does need some body work. Looks alot better in pics, but not too bad. Your basic bottem of the wheel well issues, driver floor pan and maybe new trunk pan , new ones look sweet. And yes this was my car at 14, at that time dad did buy it for me for $2000, all original, magine that. :o

Cool story glad you were able to get her back. How hard was it to track her down again? What you sold it for 20 years ago was there a pretty good mark up to today. Keep the pics coming cause pictures are like the coffee of the month, they keep giving year round :lol2:

I think the webiste might be wrong unless The Greater Capital Association of REALTORS restored your grills  :eek4:

Hey 72 Cudaguy, you ought to see if you can have this moved to the restoration forum, this will be another fun one to watch. Post often and the more pictures of work done the better! Very nice car and welcome to the forum.  :2thumbs:
