This winter I want to bolt a few things on the 383. I have 3 things and 3 questions about them that I want to bolt on for more juice that are easily swapped.
1. Now its an L code, want a 4 barrel. What cfm and brand are recommended for everyday highway use, and the occasional munch on the gas?
2. Intake mani, single plane, dual plane? I read that the single plane is best for higher RPM? I also want to use the original choke, but might not need it, seeing I only drive when its warm.
3. Headers, what brand are best for the buck, not prone to leaks, and minimal modding to the exhaust?
I know Im probably asking for a lot with these questions, but I read an artice on Mopar Muscle online with these couple bolt ons, over 400 horse. I dont want to do a cam, not now. All this is on a 71 challenger 383.
