Congrats on the new purchase!   It looks like it'll be a great car to restore and won't take too much work to get it back into shape.
And yes, I too like the "383" written on the air cleaner lid.

UPDATE:

Stripped and ready for soda blasting.  The drivers side floor looks like it will need a replacement pan, and an inner fender well (next to battery) will be needed.  The blasting will tell a lot.  More pics soon.

They are what the overhead console attaches and the felt material glues to. Should be three pieces. The two sail panels and the main piece which the overhead console attaches to. Basically since mine are awol i wanted to ask if you could draw up a template for me from your originals.

ya, but I can see how it could fall apart.  Strange material used.  It is like pressed wood and cardboard material.

Dantes Parts reproduces the 72-76 A-body headliners in ABS plastic. I'll be calling tomorrow to see if they've any plans for reproducing E-body headliners in the same ABS plastic.
