blakes car is in there too.  I had a list, I gotta find it later.  And yes, that is the Winchester one.  I know the guy that actually owns it right now.  He actually DROVE it to Chicago Car Kruse 2 years ago.  Really nice guy.

Does anybody have any photos of the "lost" car when it was found. Dave told me that it was sunfaded on one side, and sans engine...

The red one at the end was the lost one.  And no one has any pics of "before".

Should have a poll on which one you would pick!!

I'll go first... I'm not picky, any one of those pictured that has a 426 under the hood!

Those are beauties but what about the one the Blakes have, the one with two tone interior. The one that Hot Rod magazine said that they paid to much for it(I think it was 25000)

Paid how much??   :faint:   All sweet cars!  I actually like the yellow and white one.

Yessiree, they're all awesome. I tend to like the red/black billboard one since it is the same color combo as my 383. Cool to see them posted in one place.

Awesome cars all of them. I know a guy who claims to have owned one of either 70 or 71 hemicuda verts and sold it in the early to mid 80's. He said it was yellow with a 4 speed, any way to get the history of ownership on the cars? Hard to believe that this little podunk town held one of the most awesome cars ever. He said it did not matter what gear he had it in, the torque always overwhelmed the tires and that is one of the reasons he got rid of it. BTW he is a big camaro guy and has about 9 69's.

That is the main reason that the Hemi cars didn't turn the big 1/4 mile times and the other muscle car times were so close to the hemi-------lack of traction.   If you analyze the et's and mph of the Hemi cars you can see that very clearly.  Most if not all true muscle cars could run with the Hemi's for a few hundred feet.  It is when the deep breathing Hemi's hooked up, it is adios.   Hope that explains why you see cars rated at 375-400 HP could post times close to the underrated (425 HP) Hemi's.  The lower HP cars hooked up way sooner than the Hemi's and got moving sooner.  One word---------traction. It is the great equalizer........      :cooldancing:

That and ports designed for higher rpms. If you could "stick" a Hemi from idle and standing start, it will be softer 60' than most 440 wedge cars. Revi it and dump the clutch, wheels spin..Bog it and try to walk it out, it sluggish until about 3000rpm.

Yeah throw up some pics!

I have Never been a fan of bilboards.... I will say that the white with Black BB's is awesome...the first one I have ever seen and liked!

All 71 Hemi Cuda Verts have been accounted for.  There were more then 2 with 4-speed.  And with such odd options, the paperwork supporting that there were only so few cars built is pretty substancial.  I have pictures of every one of them if anyone wants to see them.
