    took the day off to spend some quality time with the challenger

    just about finished off the engine compartment

    Looks very good cept for the distributor is in the wrong place. :stirpot:

    Judging by the air cleaner, 2nd fender tag, and engine compartment paint scheme that car would be a factory T/A and the distributor is in the correct place since all "J" code cars had 340 6-PACKS

    If it is a T/A it has had some changes done.  ;)

    No reflection on the work though, it looks very nice.

    Barry knows this car...original FM3 Challenger deputy...supposedly 1 of 2 produced....now a T/A wanna be.....I think thats how I'll refer to it from now on. Clone is not right, neither is tribute....wanna be...yeah, thats what it is.

    I'm used to big block and hemi cars, so this is a welcome change of pace.

    Very cxlean looking car. And forget the purists - its your car build it your way. There are enough trailer queens out to to see what "factory correct" restos are supposed to look like. Funny as Ma would slap together cars with whatever was on hand to get them out the door. Frsh air 1970 Challengers come to mind, as do Valiants with barracuda dashes, etc, etc, etc.
