2005 Hemi Quad Cab - SOLD
« on: December 04, 2006 - 09:00:49 AM »
Lowering my monthly overhead

Selling my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 QC with Hemi and auto. It's got all the usual goodies - 20" rims, stainless steel side steps, billet grille, a/c, pw, am/fm/cd/cassette. Plus I had a Rhino Liner spray-in bedliner done as well as the topper. It's got right around 21.5K miles and I've had no issues with it. I am just selling because I no longer want/need car payments. Truck sticker was over 30 grand just 12 months ago - selling for balance owed $17,900.00

MORE PICS - One shows the slight parking lot damage in the lower rear passenger  quarter which is the only "problem" with the truck. I also have a K&N type Cold AIr Intake installed.

Thanks.  I hope to sell her too.  As a side note - I already got one of those, "I'll send you $28500.00 in certified check.  Please cash and give balance to my shipper to pay costs to get to the UK." :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

Not yet - did not meet reserve on ebay.  Probably bad week to try and sell something. I'll probably post it on ebay again after New Years.

Sadly the Average Trade in is $18,850 on NADA.com.  People/Dealers won't give you credit for aftermarket add-ons, so that's basically money down the drane (sucks, but that's the truth).  People will also take away from the value with the parking lot ding, which in todays world could end up around $750 VERY EASILY!!!  Don't get me wrong, it's a nice truck & I would love to have it, but don't think you would be willing to sell for what I would be willing to pay.  It sucks how Dodge has the best looking truck by far, but they are the worst for retaining their value.  My wifes Pacifica depriciates faster that I can make payments!!!

2 wheel drive.  I may just go ahead and fix the dent in the next couple of weeks and re-list on ebay then. The dent is not that big, I just didn't feel like messing with it.  Probably cost around $250.00 to fix. A good body guy can fix the dent in less than one hour.  If you guys think that is what is hindering the sale, it's probably going to be worth the effort to get it fixed.  Thanks for the advice.  Maybe, I'll also pull off all of my add-ons and sell them separately especially if you don't think it's adding any value to my truck.
