AAR Neon
« on: December 04, 2006 - 06:18:45 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knew where to find the old rallye style wheels for the neons. Like to find the stripes too. I showed my daughter a couple of pics of neons made up like AAR 'Cudas and she likes the idea.  They have the fiberglass hoods for them on ebay, but I can't find anything else.  :1zhelp:
                                   Thanks
                                                HSD

My son has an SRT-4 and I have a friend into Neons. I'll e-mail both of them and see what I can find out. I know my son was looking at those stripes for his.

Thanks for the link.  She has the older 97 body style.  Looking for something along these lines.

If you know someone that has a graphic design company. If you show them the pics they should be able to make you stripes.

Try e-mailing Joe Hoth at carcrz@peoplepc.com, he custom-made me a set of T/A stripes that say R/T instead.

i think small bolt rallys will work. the shadows have the small bolt pattern as the neon i THINK....the only difference is the center hole is just a touch smaller on the neons....i know i could put shadow wheels on my duster...

I just went out to the garage to check. My Challenger has 4 1/2" bolt pattern. My daughter's 98 Neon has 3 3/4" pattern. Looks like someone made it work, though.

Great idea. I was thinking of doing the same thing when we were looking for a first car for my daughter, until we found an R/T. The AAR stripes and hood are fairly easy to find, but I never found any wheels when searching on the internet. She was a little skeptical of a manual transmission at first, but now a sixteen year old girl can do something 90% of the boys at her school can't do - drive a stick shift!  :burnout:

I just got an e-mail from my friend Marc. He said his girlfriend used the old style small bolt pattern ralleys on her Neon and they fit. :dunno:

Quite a few people sell the neon aar style stripe kits on ebay...

or just search ebay for aar stripe , neon stripe, aar decal... or other derivatives and I'm sure you'll find a ton.
