They do not have to be perfect, when you put the drum in, you will turn it as you push it in and it will center on it's own. It only has to be close.

Yes, you have to change all rubber seals. You need to look at your shift kit also, there should be a shim in it for the rear servo piston. THE SHIM IS A MUST! The spring tension shouldn't be too much for you.
