    Bob, when you get a chance, post some pics of your sanding jobs(shafts) so I can see how they turned out. :2thumbs:

    Will do.  I didn't get to it last night, I was too exhausted.  :faint:  I'm going at it right now, so I'll post some pics in 45 minutes or so. 

    Just to reitterate (sp?), but I'm sanding both sides of the shaft, correct?  The one with the nub sticking out, then removing the snap-ring and removing the shaft, then sanding the other end, correct?

    looks like they could use a little more sanding......does the surface have to be completely smooth?

    No, but the smoother the better! That looks alot better, I would like to see some 400 grit go across it maybe? :jumping:

    Just an FYI, I'm taking off work on Friday to work on my trani all day.  I'll also be working on it Saturday too, most of the day.  My shift kit should come in tomorrow so I'm hoping to try to get that done as well.  I'm off all next week so that should give me some good working time on this.   :2thumbs:
