How is the quality of the work?  Seems impossible to do good work in that short of time, especially the body work.  Not a huge fan of Foose's paint schemes and wish he woulda left that silver roof stripe off.

He always does... he can not stand a solid paint job.  It allways has to be a two tone, or striped...just him (I don't care for a lot of his two-tones) was not really caring for the stripe across the roof.  This one odly grew on me a bit, wish mine looked like that!

Goody Way to go...one of the best shown I have seen on OH. (loved your confession phonecall)

:iagree:  I still personally like how Chip mentions how he's going against you, the insider, with the paint scheme for that roof stripe...I'm still waiting to see the other part after the commercials when you notice they painted it diferently than what was discussed.

Yes, its is definately done in a week. quite amazing, they filmed the 'lets go at it'. i came back in like 2 hours, they asked me to. EVERYTHING you could unbolt off that car was off..a shell. it was amazing.

Yea, i think the stripe gone would have been a little better as you saw in the show lol. But really in person it doesnt take away from the car. Its just plain awesome.

When they were putting the engine in, the silver stripe started to make sense to me.  All the colors of the car are present in the drive train via the black plastic, painted block, and aluminum.  :2thumbs:

Thats Pretty Awesome.  I bet I could strip one down...of course I would loose 32% of the parts.  The only thing I liked about the roof stripe was that it reminded me of the Roadrunner (70's) type stripe and kinda reminded me of a winged warrior

Do they have requirements of you, such as must be garage kept, or be available for showes, photo opps etc?

The car is a knock out, but we all have different taste. Personally the roof stripe is OK but would have looked better if he had "strobed" it like the 71-72 RR models, other than that I don't care for the large rims and low profile tires. My wife loved it all except she felt it would have been best to keep the stock bucket seats. Now that most of us have voiced some pro's and cons, honestly, has ole dad expressed any misgivings on any of the "overhaulin" ? Anything he wished he'd had done differently? It sure would be very hard to complaim even in a rather mild way, the car looks sweet  :2thumbs:

:iagree: That would be way cool, after all it is a "nationally known car", it would sit very nicely in one of the buildings down around the food vendors.  :bananasmi
