I am really bummed this evening as it is.
A good member here was waiting on a fuel gauge from me just before I went on the road. I was wanting to make sure I got to the ups store before I flew out of town.
I sent him a temp gauge and he was really trusting me and I failed. I just can't believe I caused him grief, then tried to help out cuda guy and this isnt happening either. I gave the member the temp gauge for free since I screwed up, and am waiting for his pp address so I can give his money back and a little extra so he may buy another and maybe have it overnighted or something on me.

Yes!  I did hear from Scott and got one picture.  He said he would email me some more.  But for now, this is the one I got.  I'll post the others as soon as I receive them.

From what I understood him to say...He is showing the worst side. He had said it was backed into and dented the fender and also some door work. The red hood may be the sport hood he had for it.

Is that a luggage rack on the decklid?

I also remember maybe some pinhole rust in the trunk and he was sure the pans didnt need replacing but couldn't give a good description when I talked to him. He was quite sure they had no holes tho.

Maybe-maybe not if this is a good car for the project. Looks good from 1 pic, but need more. He's 35 miles from me and I will be going over there in about 3 weeks to pick up my extra 70 doors I loaned him to take the glass out of and my sport hood. If no pics by then, I will have some for us to look at.

Scott sent some more pics. This was his description to me about the car...

This car has been in Huntsville Alabama with the same owner for over twenty years and may have originally been sold in the Huntsville area. I also have the build sheet for the car. It is an original gray car with white interior. The car is in need of a total restoration. I have not had the car on a rack, but the floor pans appear to be in very good condition. The car has been scraped down the passenger side and that is why the door and fender have been replaced. The replacement fender is very rusty, but I do have the original fender that could possibly be repaired. The interior is rough. The 318 CI motor runs and the transmission works. The freeze plugs in the motor are rusted through therefore it can not be moved very far under its own power. I believe this car to be a great starting point for someone and I intended on keeping it for myself but after year and a half project on a 1970 cuda I have lost interest in restoring another car. If you have further questions or would like more pictures I will do my best to help.

I got a drivers door remote sport mirror and a door handle, and maybe some other parts to donate. And it does have the rack on the decklid..kool.

We do need the money controlling person or someone that knows about repairs to go look at the car. I see it needs a dash pad. The car is just off  I-59 about 20 minutes. North of Birmingham about an hour or south 1.5 hrs from chattanooga Tn, then 20 minutes on local roads.

I myself just drove through those darn winter storms in northern washington today and am in Twin Falls Idaho for tonight, 750 miles on my way to Rock Springs wyoming, then to Sioux city iowa for monday. Hoping to be home in 8 days or so

Sorry, I forget the asking price of the car? It is a possibility right? And if the guy is willing to hold it until Alan can give a good inspection and evaluation, eight days is not that long considering the time we have waited to just get to this point with this car.
