AWESOME NEWS!!  I was beginning to worry about it happening in time!!  Can't wait for pics.  Wish I was closer, I'd donate shop space to put her together in (can't afford much else at this point other than what I've already given to the cause).  Maybe, I'll try to pull some strings and make for the big reveal - this should be a fun, once in a lifetime experience :jumping:

I can also donate a stripe kit for the car.  I can either donate a factory style 74 in black, any displacement Hockey Stick, or if we want to go a little wild how about a custom AAR with C-C in the badge instead of AAR...

The car is in Alberville Alabama if anyone wants to see where the area is. I don't have a tow vehicle, and it has to be trailered to wherever it will be worked on if we get it. It does run, but has leaking freeze plugs, not from freeze but from old bad rusty water. Also, I will take a mini dv recorder with me and take videos and send them to Rev as well.

Glad I could help.

This sounds like it's gonna happen, need to know what we will need for parts?I am sure I have some parts here that can be used on it,just keep us up to date with some pic's.It also looks like I need to go to Carlisle this year.I was wondering should a magazine (Mopar of course)be contacted? They say it never hurts to have more eyes on it,and it may kick up somemore donations of parts after he gets the car.

Wow, its looking like this could all come together.   :jumping:  I think a quick evaluation of the car with a detailed parts list would be a good idea, lots of members here that could donate some parts. I don't have much for parts, but could purchase something on ebay and have it shipped wherever.

Well I just got in, I was up traveling since 3am. Sure am tired and on dial up now too. Letting my computer do all it's spyware updates and security up dates. I got the guys # programmed into my phone, so I will get my work reports and expenses reports done early, finish these down loads, and give him a call.

Al gave me a call this morning as he was there with the car.  When he called, the car was running!!
I was amazed.  He said that it will need a new drivers' floor pan, new trunk and a new fender.  The bottom of the rear window track will need some work, but other than that, it looks pretty original.

All the AC parts are there.   We will need a new interior.  All the numbers match...it has a fender tag and a build sheet.

Al is taking pictures and will post them here and I will start a poll to get consensus from the board before I purchase it.  Looks like this might be the one guys!!   :jumping: :jumping: :jumping:
