Burpin needs to come to Carlisle so Rev and April can give Burpin some hugs!!

So far I know we're gonna need an interior and a fender.  Take a look at the pics that Al put up on the poll.  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=31857.0

Everyone...please vote! I need to feel very comfortable that I'm spending your money wisely.

Perhaps someone could contact either say Year One or Legenday and tell them what is being done, and ask if they could donate some interrior parts, what one may be willing to donate (carpet, headliner, package tray etc) the other might donate toward other items such as upholstery and door pannels etc.  And since both of these vendors are always at Carlisle they could bring the donated parts with then to make a public presentation to Cuda Guy, now you can't get any better publicity and good PR than that angle of business smarts. I think either or both companies would want to be a part of such a visible public presentation at a show such as Carlisle.  :2thumbs: Other venders such as Just Dashes and others may want to be a part also.

I think WSM has a great idea.  The guys at Legendary Auto Interiors have always presented themselves well at the vendor areas of Carlisle, so perhaps they'd be willing to get in on the cause if we told them the entire situation with the 'Cuda and Don serving his country and never having any time to really do his own car search and rebuild.

It was a late night when I posted this and accidentally wrote Paddock when I meant to say Legendary Auto. :screwy:  Paddock may want to be involved though 'cause they're decent when it comes to helping out.

I think the story would make one hell of an overhauling show.    :naughty:

Anybody here know how to get ahold of those guys... :cooldancing:  This is the kind of story Foose would eat up - the only problem from the shows point of view would be how to "Prank" Cuda Guy.   Afterall he does not own the car (yet).

Foose can do a special show. The whole thing about stealing the car is the suprise at the end. And what better suprise than getting a car you didnt think you would get. Rev a leader in arms should take the lead.

I just email my friend at YearOne about getting some interior parts for the Cuda.  I will let you know when I hear from him.

I have a tentative commitment on Year One's part to give us something.  They have been waiting on making sure we actually have a car first then they will let us know how much they will donate.

We have already tried contacting Foose...filled out all the paperwork and everything...told him the entire story.  We haven't heard anything back.

And as far as a woman spending money wisely..... well, OK, you got me there... :roflsmiley:

I sent an e-mail to the guys at Legendary Auto Interiors during one of my breaks on campus letting them know the entire situation and asked if they would be willing to donate to the cause.  I gave them Laura's e-mail for validity as well as asked them to contact me if they are able to help any.  Hopefully we get a positive response from them as they'd be a great asset to get involved with this. (especially after seeing what the interior looked like.) :2thumbs:
