I was snooping around and found this site (like it was lost or a big secret...)

http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=3015101&an=0&page=0

I like how the the Local of the person shows up along with their name logo etc.

Here's another one.....

On most sites, I can click a link that says "View My Threads" which would take me to a list of Threads that I started and then can view them by clicking on each one.  It's almost like the current one up top that says "Show replies to your posts" but it should just show All my posts regardless if they've been responded to or not.

Just my  :2cents:

Yeah...I like it too, but it's a different software than we're running here. If folks would just put it in their signature or even their profile, it would make life a bit easier.

You can do that through your profile. Just click on "show posts".

Rev, it is possible with this forum software, but it takes a little editing of the template code. It's "dangerous" work if you're not sure what you're doing, but it can be done. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm on a couple other message boards that use this same software, and I think I've seen something to that extent on SMF's main message board. Have you tried searching there for a "package" to install to add that? :dunno:

Yes we have, and like you say, it's a bit dangerous.  At the time, Ross didn't feel it was worth the risk.

Not too sure how these forums work, but I've got a free image gallery that's almost the same, where I get the templates (pages) and then I can modify them if needed.  I'm 99% comfortable with modifying webpage templates if you want someone to look at one of the pages to see if it can be done.

Thanks RDF, I really appreciate it.  Ross, is very knowledgeable about this stuff...more than I ever will be.  :grinyes: Maybe he'll chime in here.
