'71 Challenger Convertible- A/C, PW, PDB,PS
« on: December 09, 2006 - 07:18:11 AM »
I have a '71 Vert, 318, PS, PDB, air, Power windows, power top, standard dash, Gold on gold, that I'm going to build a pace car out of. I just got it from Texas on ebay, so the original auction is still there.

I'll sell it for $20k right now. I just got a new trunk floor from Grundy, and I have a cowl and firewall coming from Dragfish, trunk gutter from Swampr. I just put electronic ignition on last week. Running and moving 318,  top is there but is off of the car. The passenger side floor is still good but the driver's side front and rear floor need to be replaced.  I'm collecting parts to start it soon but I'm still getting my Cuda ready for the 2007 Power Tour.  I'm in St. Louis, MO. Close to the Chrysler plant.

I have all of the parts not seen in the picture. Perfect 71 grill, bumpers, door panels, side markers, tailights, seats, etc.

Hi Rob, You have way to much time on your hands working on all the mopar's you have. I have plenty to do with just my Cuda and Challenger but have been looking at buying another project that is a running Challenger. They are just so high even for the 73-74 model years. I would like to clone a TA and may end up using a later year Challenger as the 70's are bringing way to much money. If you don't sell the 71 vert what are your plans for it engine, trans, body color, and interior.

My plans for it is this: 71 Pace Car,  Hemi Orange ext. White Top, White Interior, 340- 4speed.  I bought the rebuilt 340 from Ty last year and scarf up all of the 4 speed stuff that I run across in swap meets. I can't wait to get it done.

It will be FUEL INJECTED too.  My engines all have to have an O2 sensor from now on.
