progress 2

painted the door hood and trunck jambs and sand blasted the rear axle and k frame. Home made filter door and a box so I can close off the fan to heat or cool the shop when needed. The fenders are alomost done too.

Nice job!!  Furnace filters I assume!  You always do such great work.  Maybe this should be in the members restoration area?  Was there a progress #1?  :clueless:

Very surpised at the very little trash in anything. I wet the floor and all down.  The outside will be base clear wet sanded to a mirror finish.

Yeah, this does need to be in the resto section. I'd like to see more. Looks like nice work from what I can see, just not enough, more pics please!   :thumbsup:

Black has got to be the hardest color to do, it shows every thing.  Did you block the car yet yourself?  Nice gloss value from what I see of the underside of the hood.  Have you any other progress pics to share here yet?

yes ive guide coat blocked twice I will wet sand a final time. It was a littlr rough so Im trying to get it straight. I stripped it so it has all the dings and dents from 30 plus years to fix.   new qrtrs and inner fenders.   How I got it.

Painted single stage urethane on some pieces to see how straight everything was . and will use that to wet sand and then base clear.  so far so good

Damn dude that is coming out awesome. The hood looks really good. Man I wish you lived near me I'd pay you to help me out with my car. I have some minor body work and you have skills. Keep posting the progess it looks great.
