Oil Housing
« on: December 10, 2006 - 05:31:40 PM »
I'll be attempting to take off my oil filter housing that sits on the block.  Reason being is that I have to take off my headers and the housing is in the way on the passenger side.  My question is, is it just the big nut (see pics below) in the center, or do I have to remove anything else?

If we never drown we'll never know how well it tastes....So tell me how it tastes and I'll know just how well you drowned.

Don't forget to use the correct gaskets when you put it back together or you will be doing it twice. I got mine at the dealer. The local auto store didn't have the set with the 3 gaskets. Clean it up good....
